Saturday we woke up to overcast skies and lots of rain... it was chilly too. We slept in a bit, had the continental breakfast, got ready and met up with Grandma & Grandpa for a trip to the Wildlife Museum. We went there once when Marcus, Chandler and Sydnee were all pretty little, Sydnee was still in a stroller. We figured it'd be fun to go back for memory sake, plus it would be a first for Tanner.
Eww.. YUCK!
That's enough to cause a kid nightmares!
If I saw one of those things flyin' around me,
I would go ballistic in the worst way.

After visiting the museum, we went to the Cracker Barrel for lunch! We all love going there and looking through the little country store for old fashioned treats & goodies before we go eat! Grandma & Grandpa gave the kids some money in their Valentine cards that they could use to pick something out while at the country store or up at the Zion's Lodge gift shop. Chandler & Sydnee both chose a webkinz & Tanner picked out a cowboy cap gun! Marcus didn't see anything he really wanted there so he waited 'til the next day and bought a carved wooden bear sling shot up at Zions!
By later afternoon the storm lifted and blue skies started to peak through a bit. It was still pretty chilly out but not enough to stop the kids from wanting to go swimming again! When they came back to the room we ordered pizza and watched the two dvd's of old Twilight Zone & Candid Camera episodes I bought at the Cracker Barrel Country Store.
We ended the night on suspense & laughter...
