McKynlee

The First Snow

Last weekend we got the first snow of the year down in the valley. These are some photos we took before church that Sunday.

PiCkiN' PuMpkInS

We have this older couple that lives right on the street that we drive on to go to and from our house everyday that grows and piles their front yard full of pumpkins and squash of all different kinds and sizes each year and we can hardly wait for them to start putting out their pumpkins to buy. They have this nostalgic old truck that they always park in their yard too and it's all so GRITTY! We LOVE it, we always go buy our pumpkins to decorate our yard with there and we especially enjoy being able to pass by a few times a day this time of year.

Tanner closed his eyes on this one, but I still think it's so cute!

Makin' SiLLy faces like the PuMpkInS on the truck!

Conference Weekend

In between the conference sessions, the kids have quite a few wiggles and energy to dispense of. In the photos below, (minus McKynlee) they were playing some game they had made up where they were all on the couch except for one that would try to step up on the ottoman and get on the couch with them and everyone on the couch would try to prevent that person from getting on the couch by kicking their legs and then that person would fall off the ottoman onto the pile of pillows and blankets on the floor. This one kept them busy and laughing for a long time.

Kynlee enjoys listening to the kids when they are playing and laughing like this. She was sitting in the kitchen getting into it vocally and swishing her pony tail up and down. She loves to play with her pony tail!

We also went for a walk at the track across the street and let the kids work out some of those wiggles and energy running on the grass and playing some soccer with neighbor friends.

I HeArT this moment where Tanner was reaching forward and touching McKynlee's hands.

This is one of the last Black-eyed Susans that wasn't wilted yet in my front yard.

Taking McKynlee for a walk around the culdesac.~

Whenever we take McKynlee for a walk around the culdesac she loves it when we get to this pine bush. She always giggles and thinks it's so funny how the pine needles are prickly to the touch.

My BirThDay Dinner

My BirThDaY was on the 13th and I had a really nice day! I'd already gotten my camera from Andres and we went to lunch together. Later that night we met my parents at Magleby's Grill & Oyster Bar for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed being with my family and my parents. My parents gave me these Roxy boots that I heart and a gorgeous watch, and since the camera was FREE, I felt justified in feeding my obsession for jackets/coats.. I got the black and white plaid one that I'm wearing here on my birthday, a corduroy grass green one with a floral lined hood (that my Mom actually got too, and is wearing here at my birthday) and a turquoise one with a gray fur edged hood. I must say.. this birthday exceeded my expectations - Thanks to Andres, my kids, Mom & Dad, and everyone else who made it such a great day for me!
