Halloween Pajama Party!

Friday, October 22nd I threw a Halloween pajama party for Sydnee and some of her friends! I was going to do a friend party for her birthday back in March and never got around to it due to our busy schedule... She's always saying how she wishes her birthday was in the fall like the boys, myself and Tanner. So I told her that we could do a Halloween party instead. She gladly agreed!

They sat around in circle on the front lawn and told spooky stories..

They came in for Pizza & danced around the kitchen!

They cuddled up and watched some movies with big bowls of popcorn!

and...

they had root beer floats 

& 

told more spooky stories 

while the girls waited to be picked up!

Elisa and I hosted a Halloween Party this year and it was a lot of fun... We decided that we are going to make a it a tradition. Quite a few of the people that we invited were not able to attend for one reason or another and so we will be letting them know what the date is much farther ahead next year. Hopefully you won't break your big toe the day of the party next year, La! We served two yummy soups with pumpkin bread bowls and everyone else brought sides and goodies!

Elisa and I were having so much fun decorating the night before... we almost had to run to the store for some Depends! ~hee hee hee.... I was up on the top of one her couches trying to tape up some crepe paper and all the sudden I started to loose my balance and I knew I was going down... Elisa totally caught me, dead weight and all. We were laughing so hard! I mentioned to her that we didn't even need to have the party, because we were entertaining ourselves just fine while decorating.

We played the Newlywed Game and Battle of the Sexes and whenever you missed an answer... you had to get up with your spouse and pop a balloon, and you couldn't pop it in the same way that any other couple had already done it. You can only imagine, we had a few good laughs!!!

IT'S SLUMBER PARTY TIME!!!

Friday, Oct. 12th I got together with some of my friends and family for my birthday! It's been a tradition ever since I was in first grade. I think that was my first big slumber party ever. My Mom was an awesome party giver. Everyone always looked forward to my birthday parties every year. It was TRADITION not only for me; but for EVERYONE who came. We had a blast... The only difference this year was that I was turning 32 instead of 8! I wish Sherry and Kim could've been there too..

The night consisted of shopping, dining at PF Changs (one of my favorite restaurants), getting all cozy in our jammie's and watching a spooky movie with popcorn and treats and talking until 3:30 in the morning before we all decided to find our spots to sleep. Funny thing is.. after we got our beds all set up and turned out the lights, we still talked for another 30-40 minutes...

Saturday, Oct. 13th was my actual birthday. Andres made a really yummy harvest breakfast for all my friends and family who slept over, with eggs, bacon, his killer breakfast potatoes and O.J. ~Mmmm.... Thanks Sweety, You're the Best!
