For my Mom's birthday this year we drove up Provo canyon to a little town called Midway and went out to dinner at The Homestead Resort! It was back on September 29th, and the leaves were just starting to change colors.. so the drive was great. I think I say that every time I take a drive up Provo canyon though. haha What can I say.. I just love being in the mountains, no matter the time of year! Anyway, it was fun... the atmosphere was perfect and the food was yummy!

Mom's BiRtHdAy @ Gardner Village
Today is my Mom's 70th birthday!
All I can say, is I sure hope I look as good as she does on my 70th... My mom is such a beautiful woman and always has been inside and out. She's been told numerous times throughout her life that she looks like the movie stars Natalie Wood, Joan Collins & Elizabeth Taylor and look at her hands, aren't they gorgeous.. she's also been told that she could be a hand model.
She's always has such a great sense of class and style, I can't ever remember a time that my Mom hasn't presented herself with class and style. Another thing that is part of my Mom's character is that she can befriend anyone.. and I mean anyone. She can meet someone and within seconds have them telling her their most inner thoughts. She has a way with people. She loves them and makes them feel special, and if you're ever feeling sick or down for whatever reason, there's nobody that can nurture and build you back up better than her. She gives out compliments that are always from the heart and sincere too!
Today, Cher & I met up with my lovable Mom at Gardner Village to wander the paths of pumpkins -n- witches galore and have lunch at Archibald's! Mmm... we had the best soup ever, it was a creamy chicken asparagus soup! It was so scrumptious, we were all trying to take note of everything that was in it so we could try to make it at home. Cher's little boy Zachary and Tanner had fun together too.
Gardner Village is such a great place to take photos especially when it's all decked out for the holidays. I took quite a few of my Mom and really liked how a lot of them turned out, she's very photogenic. It turned out to be a little photo shoot for all of us actually...
eeeeeeeekkkkkkkk----- Look at the size of that spider... Tanner's scared too!

~Gettin' In Touch With Our "Rockstar" Selves~
Sydnee wanted to go to the Hannah Montana concert soooo bad; but we were not fortunate enough to get tickets before they sold out. So, next best thing... We went for a girls night out last night, to see the Hannah Montana 3D Movie Concert. We had a little diva boogy photo shoot before we left to get in touch with our "Rockstar" selves!
