Sydnee's Violin Recital

November 19th was Sydnee's violin recital and she did such a great job, she really liked the song she played, was well prepared and felt good about her performance!!!

 {a big thanks to Elisa for accompanying her on the piano}

Sydnee wanted to get a picture with her teacher Marcii after the recital, she really likes her.

Sydnee was so excited... she had mentioned to me the day before that she wanted to invite her best friend Jade to come listen to her play in her recital and then we got busy and not much was said about it after that, little did she know.. I had called Jade's mom and set it up. So right before we were about to leave there was a knock at the door and it was Jade, I think Sydnee still thought that she had just come over to wish her luck or see if she could play but when I told everyone to get in the car and Jade headed out too, she said "IS JADE COMING TOO???" and I said "Yes, you asked if she could come didn't you??? then she jumped up and down and gave her hugs as they ran to the car!

My Mom and Dad usually give Sydnee a little something after her recital that my Mom picks out especially for her and this time was better than ever... some knit gloves that don't cover your fingers completely but have a little mitten flap you can pull over them if they get a wee bit too chilly! {she's been wanting some of these for a long time} and of course you can never go wrong with goodies from Bath & Body works either! She has l-o-v-e-d coming into that store with me ever since she was 3.

Look at her face... it says it all!

A Violinist in the Making~

Sydnee was so excited for her violin recital last night, she practiced really hard and did a great job. We are very proud of her!

Sydnee & Great Grandma Elli

Sydnee's been needing and wanting a music stand for a long time now, so Andres & I and my parents gave her this awesome music stand and Andres' parents gave her a cool pair of Heely's shoes, which she has also been wanting forever. To sum it all up, she had a great night and was very thankful for the beautiful flowers and gifts she was given.
Way to go Sydnee!
