We enjoyed a really nice Thanksgiving this year! We woke up but stayed in bed snuggling under the cozy covers.. eventually we got up and put the turkey in the oven, then the boys headed across the street to the big open field for a turkey bowl game! I continued to cook and set the table for our yummy dinner. The kids had fun doing the Thanksgiving word searches and coloring pages I printed out for them.. and soon after that my parents arrived, bringing with them my Mom's famous stuffing and banana cream pies!!! Mmmm... I'd been looking forward to eating a slice of that banana cream pie for weeks already! After dinner we cuddled up on the chaise lounges all covered in fluffy blankets and pillows and watched The Polar Express, then we ate pie & played our "I am thankful for..." guessing game!
Every time someone has a birthday in our family we have the grandparents from both sides of the family over for a special sunday dinner to celebrate! This time we were celebrating lots of birthdays... mine, Marcus & Chandler's, Tanner's and grandpa's!
