I’ve sat down to post one of many overdue topics
several times and subconsciously I really don’t want to and end up snooping
around blog land for kitchen re-do inspiration amongst other things.
Sydnee’s friend brought her little pet bunny she just got
for her birthday to school on Monday and ever since she’s been driving me nuts
for a bunny. EVERYDAY! Chandler really wanted one a couple of years ago and we
thought about it but never got one. Truth be known, I’d love a bunny too. I’d love a
handful of bunnies. I’d love some chickens and goats and a
mini-farm too! My first answer was no way, because of course we don’t live on that
mini-farm that I so wish we did..
but after all the constant little bunny notes and asking me over and over
and over again, I just decided to look some up on the classifieds. They are so
cute… no wonder she wants one so bad! Tanner & Chandler want one now too! This got my wheels turning… I called
Andres to ask him if there’s any way we could figure out how to turn our
existing suburb home on a small lot into the mini-est farm ever and make room
for some bunnies. I’m seriously considering ripping out most/all of my grass in the backyard, extending the back patio to run almost the full length of the house,
building a very small sized barn and fencing off the rest of the side yard area for
keeping small farm animals. Oh how I’d love me some chickens and goats to go
along with those bunnies. I think a cow named Millie and some horses would be
great too, but those would definitely have to be on a larger farm. My back yard is already pretty messed
up from our two little ponies huge dogs so why not take it a step further and
intentionally make it a place for animals.
Anyway, that’s
just a small portion of what’s been on my mind lately. It’s full to the brim!
Full of ideas, of things I desperately need to get done, of all sorts of stuff!
One thing I can say for sure is… I am tired of this ups-y downs-y weather we
keep having, I can’t seem to get the temperature right in the house. I’m always
cold, like right now to be exact. OH! And my laundry is crawling up the wall.
Hooray!
Today I need to: (this was Thursday)
*Finish this blog post
*Easter preparation
*Costco run (outta T.P. and other things)
*Make two dozen cookies for Relief Society tonight (ended up buying them @ Costco instead)
*Share my thoughts on what's helping me to build my foundation @ Relief Society
*and all the other regular things... like making lots of trips to and from the school picking up kids on different schedules, help with homework, take the boys to music lessons, etc.
I can't believe it's been almost a month since I went to Tanner's little singing program at school. He was so excited for me to come. They've been working really hard on all the songs for quite some time now and he couldn't wait for me to see them sing "The Tooty-Ta" song. He kept telling me that there was a part in the song where I'd have to participate! So there we were... my Mom and I singing and doing the Tooty-Ta dance amongst an auditorium of other parents and grandparents! I gotta say.. it was fun!
I think somebody
has a crush on the cute little girl sitting next to him!!!
