a little of this... a little of that..

I'm always in the mood for a scenic drive on Sundays. 


When the day began to wind down and early evening was upon us, I told Andres.. "Let's pop some popcorn and go for a drive up the canyon!" and we did. It was so pretty. Everything was drenched in shades of green and the lake looked smooth as glass with the sun shimmering down on it. We talked about how much we'd enjoy having a summer vacation home on a big lot to gather with our family someday! 


It reminded me of a Sunday back in March that we ventured off on another scenic drive dreaming of what it will be like someday when we have a nice big lot with an orchard of fruit trees to walk through. How romantic!

It makes me want to give her a big squeeze and

cuddle her up all cozy in bed to go night-night!

I sat her on the counter to have a snack and she

propped up her knee and rested her chin on top. 

I thought she looked so natural and cute, 

I had to grab my phone and capture the moment.

Another project we've been working on lately...

-Sydnee's Room-
we finally settled on a gray color..
Martha Stewart - Cement Gray
lightened by 50%.


Now we gotta get her moved out of the old room and into the new!
