Windy.. Windy~~~

This is McKynlee's favorite thing to do when we are driving in the car and she even gets mad sometimes if we start to slow down and the wind level decreases. She giggles profusely and says "windy.. windy..."

Her favorite things have a way of quickly becoming my favorite things; because I absolutely cherish hearing her laugh & seeing her happy face.~

HaPpY BiRtHdaY: Party with Friends!!!

The tree of life was really popular for climbing at the party. We call it the "tree of life" because we planted it only a short 5-6 years ago and it's literally taking over our front yard, driveway, the sidewalk and the road. It's a great shade tree of course, we love it!

We did a TaiLgAtE themed party, where we took the kids across the street for a game of KickBaLL, then we came back to the house for an outdoor LuNcH of hotdogs, chips, fruit snacks and drinks, then we served up the cupcakes and sang HapPy BiRthDaY and last but not least we opened PrEseNtS!!!

I can't believe I used to be able to do that with both legs when I was little, and then I'd sit there and rock back and forth, whatever happened to my miraculous flexibility??

Let the 1 mile race begin-

*(I have a lady in my ward that owns a running store and she said that this mile is a LONG mile, she said it's more like 1.1-1.2 miles). So hat's off to all those kids that ran their little butts off.

Sydnee ran against all the 2nd grade girls from different schools and came in at 11 minutes - 11 seconds, 14th overall and 2nd from her school.

Way to go Sydnee!!!

GOOoooooo Marcus!!!!

Marcus was so excited for this years race. He got third last year and REALLY wanted to come in first this year. He didn't get first; but he got an AWESOME 2nd and gave a hard fight for 1st. He came in at 7 minutes - 27 seconds, 2nd overall and 1st from his school!!!!! 

Go Chandler, Go Chandler, Go!!!

Chandler did an excellent run too! He came in at 8 minutes - 16 seconds, 8th overall and 2nd from his school. Isn't that cool, Marcus & Chandler came in first and second in the 3rd grade race for their school. Rock on Dudes!!!

Sugar for Grandpa

Brick Oven seems to be the famous place to celebrate birthdays!

They got the coolest books ever from Abu & Papa!!! It's not hard to tell from the looks on their faces how much they're into them. 

There's another one of Marcus' crazy faces again! These are the cute little cards from Grandma & Grandpa O. with the money to go buy their favorite Lego sets! They've been waiting for this for months. They got some money from Abu & Papa too that they weren't expecting so now they are even more stoked! See guys... Good things come to those who wait!!!

Wow, what a fantastic day and they still have their friend party to look forward to on Saturday! I'd say these guys have had quite the birthday...
