i still can't believe the boys

are half way through 6th grade already..

i just love how they constantly insist on wearing their hair long these days... rarely do they ever look like they don't need hair cut anymore.. i'm really hoping eventually get over the long hair obsession. until then... i'm lovin' 'em just the same, long hair and all! silly boys. :D

-grandparents birthday dinner-

Every time someone has a birthday in our family we have the grandparents from both sides of the family over for a special sunday dinner to celebrate! This time we were celebrating lots of birthdays... mine, Marcus & Chandler's, Tanner's and grandpa's!

 Sydnee made Grandpa a really cute handmade card and big plaid blanket for his birthday!!! She was so excited to give it to him and he loved it! He can hardly wait to come in from working on a cold winters day and cuddle up by the wood burning stove with it!!!
