On Friday after school we ventured out to look for some bunnies to bring home with us and we found some! Each of the kids picked one and they are oh.so.cute! We've been smitten in love with them ever since.~ Here's the cellphone pictures right after we brought them home. The kids are on cloud 9!
Marcus chose a mini rex bunny and named it Thumper!
Sydnee chose a mini holland lop and named it SugarBaby!
Chandler chose a mini holland lop and name it Commander Hare!
Tanner chose the smallest one of them all, a tiny little mini rex and named it
Black Ninja!
*This morning Marcus came in my room crying uncontrollably.. he found tiny Black Ninja dead. Poor little bunny rabbit. He'd been acting sick the last couple of days. We wondered since he's so much smaller than the other three rabbits if he wasn't being able to get enough water. We took him out and nursed him with his own water the last two days and yesterday we decided to put him in his own box with his own food and water. I guess he was already on his way out. He died sometime during the night. One by one.. the rest of the kids came in to our bed and cried for the loss of tiny Black Ninja. Tanner felt so bad.. tiny Black Ninja was his very first pet. He said, I couldn't wait to come home and play with him after school today and then he didn't want to go to school. We told him that tiny Black Ninja went up to heaven and we'd see him again someday.
Looks like we'll be having a little burial service tonight.

Looks like a fund Easter! What fun to get bunnies! I always wanted one, but never got one. I'm sorry to hear Black Ninja died:( What a hard thing for Tanner. Good thing he'll see him again in Heaven!
Oh, that is so sad:( Cute little bunnies though.
